Really enjoyed this spot. Definitely a good place for some real Jamaican cuisine. My only complaint is the cabbage was a little too crunchy for me. But I would definitely recommend this place. Oh and jerk sauce is one of the best I ever had. Can't wait to visit this place again. Great food, great service and great music too.

Pretty good food!!!! The jerks sauce is amazing. We ordered the Rasta plate which came with three sides which was perfect for us because we are vegetarians., so I ordered mac & cheese, cabbage and rice and beans. Everything was pretty tasty, cabbage was a little undercooked for my liking, but everything was flavorful. Service was awesome and the restaurant was nice! Great for groups, happy hour and date night. The DJ was playing GOOD VIBES.

Where do I start? Came here with my cousin who is also an extreme foodie in atlanta. First off, our server was wonderful! Blanking on his name but so pleasant and patient. The food was. So. So. Good. We ordered a lot so bare with me: the oxtail queso dip is an absolute MUST TRY! Like don't walk, run to get it. I'm still eating some leftovers two days later it's that good. We also had a beef patty with coco bread, the curry goat entree, the jerk chicken entree and one of the pastas. Oh and they gave us some cornbread on the house which was literally to die for..... Everything was really seasoned well and tasted amazing. Everything also came out pretty quickly! I can't forget to mention the drinks, both were tasty but strong like I like! Thanks Tastee, I'll definitely be back!

As someone who grew up in New York savoring authentic Jamaican cuisine and later moved to California, where Caribbean food options are limited, discovering Tastee Spoon in Atlanta was a delightful experience. The restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by friendly service. The menu features a wide array of tasty selections, always made from the highest quality ingredients. The curry goat was by far the BEST, most tender and flavorful I've had! The jerk chicken was juicy with a perfect blend of spices, and the sides of plantains, rice and peas, and cabbage were excellent! For those seeking authentic Jamaican flavors in Atlanta, Tastee Spoon is a must-visit. Their dedication to quality and authenticity shines through!

Good food. We got the jerk chicken pasta and jerk chicken with cabbage and carrots and Mac and cheese. Everything was solid. I would say the star though was the cornbread--sooo moist and perfect corn flavor, I kind of regret not ordering it for take out. I'm sort of surprised it's complimentary. Staff are nice and it's a nice casual lunch spot. Would recommend this place!

Ordered for to go after a late night Saturday. Was able to call in the order and they let us know an approximate time when it would be ready. Was able to walk in pay and receive the order immediately. I had the oxtail plate and it was amazing. Gave a generous portion of oxtails, the rice and peas and cabbage were okay but overall good meal. I also tasted my friends jerk chicken and it was amazing!! Would definitely be back for the jerk or oxtails!!

We celebrated my bestie's 50th birthday here and had a blast. We reserved for a party of 15 and they had a long table set up for us. Our server Jay was gracious, attentive and friendly. He immediately served us bottled water and we ordered a bottle of rum punch. The menu is everything from breakfast, small bites, entrees and dessert. We started with corn bread and ordered. Our sides arrived first and then proteins. Everything from fried snapper, oxtails, jerk chicken and goat. They play reggae music and a DJ set up to keep the music coming. There's an assortment of desserts too if you're craving something sweet. If you're in the Dunwoody area, skip the trendy spots and go here for good vibes, food and service.

Absolutely love everything about this place. The service is amazing, the food is incredible, and there's sometimes a DJ playing but even if there isn't there's good music. I will always recommend this place for anyone looking for good food because it's consistently amazing.

This is an amazing authentic Jamaican food restaurant. It is located in a strip mall with tons of parking available. There is a decent sized dining area with a full bar with seating. The restaurant has kind of a hip club vibe, with Caribbean and R&B music playing throughout the dining area. They have live music on weekends. They serve Jamaican food favorites such a curry chicken, ox tail, Jamaican beef patty, curry goat, snapper, rice and peas, sweet plantains, jerk shrimp, and salmon. hey also have some savory signature cocktails to wash your food down. The staff there was very friendly and courteous. I ended up ordering The Jerk Chicken with a side of cabbage and sweet plantains. They bring you a bottle of water and a piece of their corn bread with your meal. It took about 10 minutes for my meal to be ready. The chicken was exquisite, so delicious. There is a bottle of jerk sauce on each table if you are looking for more. The chicken was tasty and flavorful, with a little kick. The cabbage was good, but different than I am use to. This cabbage was crunchy. The complimentary cornbread was really good. It had real corn in it and was drizzled in butter. I really like this restaurant. I like the vibe. I like the food and I like the service. I highly recommend checking this place out. I will definitely be back soon.
